MGM Mirage names CityCenter executives

(US).- Casino operator MGM Mirage said this week that promoted eight executives in preparation for the 2009 opening of CityCenter, its mixed-use development on the Las Vegas Strip.

The company said Bill McBeath, president of Bellagio, has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of the 4,000-room resort and casino at CityCenter and will also oversee the Vdara Condo Hotel at the development. Randy Morton has been named president and COO at Bellagio. He was previously vice president of hotel operations for the casino.

Anton Nikodemus has been promoted to president and COO of the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino. Nikodemus formerly served as senior vice president of hotel operations for Bellagio. Besides, Jon Corchis has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of the resort and casino at CityCenter. Corchis most recently served in the same position at Bellagio.

Mike Longi has been named vice president and CFO at Bellagio. He was previously vice president and CFO at the Mirage. Bill Boasberg is taking over for Longi at The Mirage. Boasberg was most recently vice president and CFO at New York-New York Hotel & Casino.

Courtney Wenlender is succeeding Boasberg at New York-New York. She was previously vice president and CFO at Beau Rivage. Jorge Perez will replace Wenlender at Beau Rivage. He was previously executive director of financial projects for Mirage resorts division.

MGM Mirage said the changes are effective immediately.
