Chief executive Sir Tristram Ricketts is also calling on betting exchanges to contribute more than the us$ 12.5 million they paid to the Levy Board in the last financial year.
The move comes a week after it was revealed that prize money contributions for 2008 would be down us$ 11.3 miillion, to us$ 101.7 million.
Chief executive Sir Tristram Ricketts said it was up to each company to decide how to deal with the payments as it was self declaration, but confirmed that the Levy Board was in discussions with the bookmakers’ committee provisions to enable spot audits.
