Great Blue HeronCasino wins best of Toronto bronze award

Staff at the Great Blue Heron Charity Casino near Toronto, Canada, are justifiably proud that their casino has been recognized as one of the best casinos in the city and has been voted this year’s Bronze Recipient in the recent Toronto Sun 13th Annual Readers Choice Award.

The Toronto Sun newspaper, with a huge readership in Canada’s largest city and throughout the Greater Toronto Area, invites readers to vote for their favorite venues in a variety of categories in its annual "Best of Toronto" awards. Other winners in the casino category, which also includes slot only locations, were Casino Rama who took Gold and Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort with Silver.

"This award is considered very special since it is voted on by customers, many of whom frequent more than one casino in the city and surrounding areas. It is an accolade to the dedication of the casino’s staff and a reflection on the high quality of their work," said Great Blue Heron CEO and General Manager, Arnold Block.

Perry Steiner, the casino’s Marketing Manager, was delighted to accept the prestigious award which has now been placed on prominent display in the casino - on behalf of the Great Blue Heron Charity Casino.

The Great Blue Heron Charity Casino recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and features 535 slot machines and 60 table games. The casino is located just east of Port Perry, less than one hour northeast of Metropolitan Toronto and an easy 30-40 minute drive from Markham, Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering, Peterborough and Lindsay.
