What is Aristocrat presenting here in G2E show? Is there anything in particular for the Asian market?

Well, we happen to be the largest slot supplier in Macau, so it is a very important show for us, and we have about 60% of the market in this region, in Macau. We have customers all over Asia and beyond, form Bangkok, from Pakistan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, so this is an important access for them, easier for them than going to Las Vegas and it is a major show for us.

How was the show for the company like? Was it positive?

Yes, it has been positive. Based on the response of our customers and in the number of customers we have here, is is very positive, and we even have customers from the Americas here, because they see a constant growth in Macau, so we are happy to host them to see this major market and expect it will grow.

Does this market have any particular difference with others?

Well, it's an emerging market. The difference is that it is exploding so fast that really you have to be here. It's such an unprecedent level of growth that none of us has experienced in gaming before in this magnitude. The size and dimension of the projects that are opening right now and in late August has never been seen, as well as the fact that it surpassed Las Vegas revenue.

Has the company prepared especial developments for the Asian market, any kind of games or technology?

Well, there are a number of new games and technology we look at globally, but the games we have in exhibition are really games that have been designed more for the Asian markets, in their graphics, their visualization, so we take successful games worldwide but we make sure that there's a line specifically developed for this market.

What was the performance of Aristocrat for the first six months of the year and how do you see the next semester?

The first half year has been good for us but generally the American markets are a bit subdued and did not have a big growth right now, so it has been more like a replacement cycle, but we are looking forward a growth in Latin America which would include Mexico and Brazil. Asia is really a very fast-growing market for the gaming industry and it is really region by region, so the past six months have been fine and now we are looking to improve our performance for the rest of the year.
