Held at the stunning Cape Town International Convention Center on the 5th and 6th September, this Summit goes beyond the South African market to bring together speakers and delegates from other key African countries where casino and other forms of gaming are legal and some very interesting opportunities are emerging.

Working closely with the Casino Association of South Africa (CASA) and other organizations to put together a program which really informs, the aim of the Terrestrial conference is to give a real insight into the casino sector in South Africa and other key countries and will also look at other forms of legal gaming including sports betting, LPMs, bingo and lotteries.

“Legalized and regulated gambling is a growing tendency in many regions of the world. Africa is certainly no exception. Investigating the opportunities that Africa may offer in this regard could be interesting and rewarding and African Gaming Summit will offer an interesting forum for discussing this potential” says D. W. Auret, CEO, Casino Association of South Africa (CASA)

Speakers are still being confirmed, but include Chris Fismer, Chairman of the National Gambling Board, South Africa, Derek Auret, Chief Executive, Casino Association of South Africa (CASA), Brian Kantor, Investment Strategist, Investec, South Africa and Steve McCain, Chairman, Bingo Association of South Africa (BASA).

The first event of its kind to look at both terrestrial and remote gaming in Africa, the Summit is two conferences in one. River City Group, part of the Clarion Group, is organizing an iGaming conference which will run alongside. Delegates register for either conference but can then attend sessions in both, giving them maximum information and access to professionals from all gaming sectors, plus see the leading products and services showcased in the expo.

As well as the two conferences, delegates will enjoy some fantastic networking. In addition to a reception in the exhibition area, there will be a party at Cape Town's coolest bar, Hemisphere, plus a golf day sponsored by the Casino Association of South Africa. The organizers are also working with an events company to offer some great tour options after the Summit.
