Betfair denies Betdaq acquisition

Eoin Ryan, communications manager for Betfair 'categorically denied' that the company was making a move, although industry sources cited in the Irish Independent newspaper said that exploratory talks had taken place.

Betdaq refused to confirm or deny any involvement with Betfair, but said that people “come and go in our offices all the time.”
