Codere inaugurates its new Turff Bet & Sports Bar in Niterói, Brazil
The company will invest in Brazil around us$ 19.7 million in the following ten years, with the installation of 40 centers in 25 cities.
Turff Bet & Sports Bar are thematic spaces with high-tech rooms, where people may bet to horse-races of the main Brazilian and International horse race-tracks from US, Australia, UK and United Arab Emirates, through an exchange of signals (simulcasting), which allows to follow races in real-time.
It corresponds to an average of 840 races a week, a volume almost 10 times higher than the current one made by the main four Brazilian horse racetracks.
On May 5th, Turff Bet & Sports broadcast live the Kentuck Derby, a well-known international race that since 1875 is organized every first Sunday of May in Churchill Downs race-tracks, in Louisville. The new center, located in Conceição street, has approximately 400 sqm and a bar service.
