What did GPI present in FADJA 2007?

It is the first time we presented in Colombia chips with RFID microchips, which, after Las Vegas event, Panama and Buenos Aires, is a product we wish to spread in the Latin American zone.

We had the first chips in Panama, and soon we will announce sales in the Dominican Republic. Argentina, in particular, is another important market. We also believe that we will find a mature market in Colombia, so this technology may also penetrate here.

Which is the balance you can make of the event? Which has been the perception of the public with regards to the products that you are presenting?

A very positive balance. For many years we have been providers of the big Colombian casino groups, and we had the big sourprise to receive many little small casino operators that are growing and begin to be interested in our well-known quality products. We have made several sales, so we are confident that in the future we will increase our sales not only among the big operating groups but also among the small ones.

Which is the most important Latin American market for GPI nowadays?

It is a difficult question. Obviously we are looking at the opportunities in Chile, altough the process for the opening of casinos is already delayed. Argentina, as usual, mantains a constant sales volume. I would say that Argentina and Chile concentrate the focus of our attention, without forgetting Colombia and Venezuela, where we have several clients, too Every time we are trying to enter to more Central American markets after having entered in Panama, Costa Rica and the Caribbean islands.

To which other Latin American regional event will you assist this year?

We could say that 2007 we will be very active for us, because not only we assisted to FADJA Colombia but also we will be present in both SAGSE events (Panama and Argentina).
