What did WMS choose to present in Colombia this year?

For the show this year we chose to have the new five-level progressive, which is one of the first that is being sold here. It has received a very positive feedback, because it is quite different from the well-known one, the Jackpot Party progressive. The biggest difference is that one is four-level and this one is five-level.

On top of that, we have games from the G+ Gambler series, which is a new game for the player that likes to do many low-denomination bets, which is something that also had a positive feedback.

Our Hot Hot Super Jackpot reel game, which is the same video copy that Hot Hot Penny, is being introduced for the first time in Colombia. I was very sourprised due to the acceptance that this game had in the event, which has been chosen as one of the favourites by the public. They have told me that Hot Super Jackpot was one of the best that have been exhibited.

How did you see the Colombian market this year? Because a constant growth has been seen, and other exhibitors commented that it has been a bigger demand by operators regarding new technologies and developments...

I agree 100 per cent with their opinion. I see that Colombians consider the gambling activity as a serious matter with regards to investments, new technology…It seems that they are tired to see always the same: second- hand machines and old machines. But now results are not the same: people demand new technology.

How is WMS positioned in the local market?

Regarding the Colombian market, we keep on growing. WMS position is, obviously, tho keep on opening more and more centers in Colombia or Panama. So far we are making an investment: next year I am going to move to Panama and we wish to open a bigger company there, in order to bring more services to the Colombian and Central American market, as well as Peru, Ecuador, a territory that I manage.

Will you be present in Panamenian event, too?

Yes, definitely. We are very comfortable with the Panamenian show, we have chosen all the machines that our company will show there, and they are already sold for the exhibition. I am also very happy with the presentation of Orion, the machine chosen to enter to the Colombian market that has had a remarkable feedback in this event.
