Two conferences will be held in one Summit African Gaming Summit: Terrestrial Conference and African Gaming Summit: iGaming Conference

The African Gaming Summit offers a comprehensive view of African gaming on and offline. The AGS will consist of two simultaneous gatherings, the Terrestrial Conference and the iGaming Conference.

Delegates will come together for overview sessions plus all networking lunches, expo visits, networking parties and exciting offsite leisure options. Running alongside the Summit will be an exhibition showcasing the latest in innovation and services for the industry.

Terrestrial Conference will address all of the essential issues affecting the pan-African terrestrial gaming sector. Its main focus will be the casino sector but it will also take a brief look at other forms of terrestrial gaming.

From the post National Gambling Act environment in South Africa to opportunities for foreign operators looking to enter burgeoning casino markets across the continent, this conference will focus on the practical considerations affecting operators and suppliers alike, including: Identifying opportunities for investment or partnership, practicalities of setting up a gaming operation in different markets, recruiting the right staff, culturally-effective marketing strategies, etc.

Besides, the iGaming Conference will explore the new regulatory legislation under consideration in South Africa as well as other issues of concern to the industry. The audience will come from both the domestic African market and the international gaming world, as players investigate new opportunities for market entry, partnerships, acquisitions or investment.

AGS conferences follow the International Masters of Gaming Law conference on the September 3-4, which will cover international and African regulatory and legal issues, making Cape Town the industry's headquarters for a full week.
