Chile: New Enjoy Antofagasta Casino to be built by SalfaCorp
SalfaCorp is in charge of the development since last Monday. General work of land removal and conditioning was iniciated last January and concluded, immediately after the Statement of Environmental Impact, so the construction phase is to begin.
Work is expected to be concluded in May 2008, anticipating the deadline established by law, which demanded the casino to be ready in July that year and the project to be completed a year later.
Enjoy Antofagasta will have more than 35,000 sqm built and will mean an investment of us$ 50 million. The project will include, together with the casino, a five-star hotel, a first level convention center, five gourmet restaurant, pubs, a theater for 300 seats, a spa, two swimming pools, convention centres, a disco and a Museum of Archeology, Antropology, History and Astronomy, in the subsoil of Huanchaca Ruins.
