The firm announced that the migration of the Tribeca and Tain poker networks onto Playtech’s network has now been completed, a month ahead of initial management expectations. Within the last 5 months, the number of concurrent players during peak time has increased from 8,400 to over 20,000 players post migration.

In addition to the poker royalties that Playtech will receive from its enlarged poker network, the group has been successful in cross selling side casino games to a number of the poker licensees which will result in an additional revenue stream.

The acquisition significantly strengthens Playtech’s share of the global online poker gaming market and is in line with the company’s continued strategy to diversify its portfolio and geographical reach.
