As one of the countries in which its economic reforms in the last few years were estimated by the relevant international institutions by the highest appraisals, Serbia improves its economic development, not only by the production increase and stability of its currency, but also by an increased tourism development and many new fair events, improving the cooperation and economic exchange with other countries and closing to the European integrations and the free market.
This process is followed by a great interest of international companies for this central country at the Balkans Peninsula, situated just in the center of the traffic corridor connecting the northern part of the continent to the southern one and the West Europe to the Middle East countries. Gaming Expo Belgrade 2007 is the latest event in the series of those confirming this tendency and being a proof of the accelerated economic development of Serbia in the final transition years.
At the space of 3,500 square meters, in the latest and most beautiful Belgrade Fair Hall, in two levels, 67 exhibitors from 21 countries will feature themselves to the event visitors. The exhibiting section of this event includes video, slot and multiplayer machines, casino equipment, software and the Internet (on-line) games.
Belgrade, as the largest city of the West Balkans and one of the capitals of the Southeast Europe, has been developing lately into a great economic and financial center. By this event, Belgrade expands its tourist bid and enables the worldwide visitors to have their business discussions and development.
Particularly important will be the participation of the company Casinos Austria International, which will announce its first opening, soon in Belgrade, in 2007, for which this company paid to the City of Belgrade a ten years license to the amount of 18 million Euros.
