With sales of 1.3 billion euros and boosted by 2 major rolling jackpots, Euro Millions allowed 119 French people to win prizes ranging from 131,000 to 61 million euros.

Sports betting games posted sales of 387 million euros compared to 283 million euros in 2005 explained by the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the success of Cote & Match as well as the increase of the number of single bets events.

Sales through Internet (Loto, Euro Millions, instant games and sports betting) also continue to develop and achieved 106 million euros, which accounts for 1.1% of the company’s overall turnover (compared to 0.8% in 2005).

Rapido game has seen a slowdown in its development with a limited sales increase of 3.1% and a decrease of its share in total sales. Scratch games sales showed a downturn (-2.6%) due to less extensive sales activity with few games launches.

In 2006, La Française des Jeux kept enforcing its mission of public order, developing a responsible gaming action plan.
