According to the announcement of the company Inversiones del Pacífico (Fischer Group), owner of the project, the new casino will be ready on July 17th, 2008. The Chief of Public Works of the Council, Eduardo Luzzi, said that the corresponding building licenses have not been presented, but the presence of workers and a sign with information of the new structure anticipates the beginning of the construction.

In that case, Law Nº 19.995 indicates that the maximum legal deadline for the beginning of the operation of each casino must not exceed 24 months since the granting of the operating license.
