He also stated that international visitors have increased by eight per cent, and for the first time ever the number of international buyers has exceeded those from the UK.

Rusbridge also made a specific reference to ATEI: The first two days have seen a total of 11,587 unique visitors according to our raw data, which is still subject to verification. This represents 531 fewer industry professionals from outside the UK and 1,192 fewer from the domestic industry.

Peter Rusbridge reflected: Whilst the figures represent early raw data, I\rquote m delighted that we have passed the 10,000 mark after just two days. The numbers include significant increases from the USA, Italy, Slovenia, Malta, Czech Republic, Hungary and France and also reveal first ever representations from Paraguay, Angola, San Marino and Aland Islands.
