BetMGM signs MMA journalist Ariel Helwani as brand ambassador

Sports betting and digital gaming company BetMGM announced Friday the signing of mixed martial arts (MMA) journalist Ariel Helwani as a brand ambassador. 

Media personality Helwani will integrate BetMGM into his promotional content, and will also be featured in upcoming marketing campaigns, social media content and promotions, as well as fan events.

Helwani has worked with major sports outlets in the past, such as ESPN, SB Nation, and he currently hosts The MMA Hour for Vox Media, as well as The Ringer MMA Show podcast, breaking down the latest fights across MMA, boxing and pro wrestling. 

Helwani has been awarded the World MMA’s “Journalist of the Year” recognition for 10 consecutive years.
