Guests in the state can bet on-premise at the venue utilizing the app. Users can redeem their gameplay at MGM Resorts properties through the "M life Rewards Program". The casino features the BetMGM Book Bar & Grill, a sports entertainment and betting venue.

BetMGM is launching its mobile sports betting app at Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, Mississippi, announced the wagering and iGaming operator on Thursday. The app is now available for download in the state and, utilizing geolocation technology, enables all guests on-premise at the venue to place pre-game, live in-play futures and parlay wagers.

“We’ve had great success with the opening of the BetMGM Book Bar & Grill at Gold Strike and are thrilled to complement our retail offering with the launch of the BetMGM mobile app in Mississippi,” said BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt.

According to a press release, app users in the state also have the opportunity to redeem their gameplay “for world-class experiences” at MGM Resorts properties nationwide through BetMGM’s integration with MGM Resorts’ “M life Rewards program.” The experiences include Mississippi-based Gold Strike and Beau Rivage casinos, but also Bellagio and MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Borgata in New Jersey, and MGM National Harbor in Maryland.

“Sports fans now have a seamless betting experience,” said MGM Southeast Region Senior Vice President of Marketing and Operations Brandon Dardeau. “Tennessee users who have become accustomed to using BetMGM can use it on-property at Gold Strike.”

Dardeau remarks that the app does not only allow for in-game betting, but also bets “from anywhere on the casino floor” including BetMGM Book Bar & Grill, a $7 million sports entertainment and betting venue.

The BetMGM Book Bar & Grill is a 6,400 square-foot facility with two 16-foot wide by 9-foot tall video displays. It also counts with a 50-foot-long video poker bar. It features “elevated comfort food”, a VIP lounge area and a Topgolf Swing Suite simulator bay where guests can play a selection of virtual games.

The Gold Strike Casino Resort features 31-story towers over the Mississippi Rivers, with 1,133 rooms and suites. It offers dining, nightlife and counts with an 800-seat theatre, and an integrated gaming experience with a 50,000 square-foot gaming area with more than 1,100 slot machines and 60 table games.
