Organizers released full agenda for the first World eSports Gaming Congress, to be held August 18-19

Colombian and Mexican authorities to attend GAT Expo 2021

The exhibition of online gaming stands will take place between 5p.m. and 10p.m. at the San Francisco Esplanade of the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center. Land-based games, slots and roulettes will be exhibited in the Gran Salón Barahona.

The General Directorate of Gaming and Lotteries of Mexico and local regulator Coljuegos will speak about the current situation regarding legislation in their respective countries, in relation to eSports and legal gaming. Some of their conferences are "The probable new legal framework for eSports betting in Mexico", by Alma Itzel de Lira Castillo; and "Regulation of eSports in Colombia", by VP of Commercial Development of Coljuegos.

The I World eSports Gaming Congress, CMAe, confirmed its full program within the framework of GAT Expo, taking place in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia on August 18-19, with SoftGaming and BetPlay acting as Platinum Sponsors.

Colombia's Coljuegos and the General Directorate of Gaming and Lotteries of Mexico will be the Latin American regulators, which will speak about the current situation as regards legislation in their respective countries in relation to eSports and legal gaming. 

Alma Itzel de Lira Castillo has confirmed her presence at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, both on the installation day of the congress (August 18) and in the conferences (August 19), with the topic “The probable new legal framework for eSports betting in Mexico”. 

Vice President of Commercial Development of Coljuegos, John Jairo Altarmianda Núñez’s conference is entitled “Regulation of eSports in Colombia”. 

Given the fact that the GAT Expo 2021 is the first face-to-face fair to be reactivated in the continent, sanitary measures and guidelines of the National and District Government, in addition to all the WHO recommendations, will be implemented. The organizers and the venue have provided a model of circulation, protocols and capacity limits so that the participants can share knowledge and technological advances with biosafety in mind.

Óscar Paredes Arroyo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIEJA, Mexico’s association of permit holders, will speak at the “The new gaming context, a vision from Mexico” conference. The Colombian associations Asojuegos, Cornazar, Fecoljuegos, Fedelco and Camazar will display stands from which they will be able to speak to their affiliates.

The main topic that will be discussed in depth on Wednesday 18 is “Digital transformation towards an omnichannel service”. The alliance between 3A Producciones and Latam Media Group allows the delivery of multiple tools for large, medium and small operators in the search to update and expand their portfolios. 

The agenda for the second day of CMAe is called “eSports ahead” and will be directed and conducted by Ángel Beccassino and Luciana Beccassino, psychologist specialized in psychomarketing.

The line-up of the World eSports Gaming Congress includes representatives of leading companies in the global industry such as Pragmatic Play, Betcris, PlayN’Go, Kiron Interactive, TVBet, EvenBet, Jazz Gaming, Luckia Colombia, Apuesta Total, Oddin, Mobadoo, Sportradar, Geekcity, Betandeal, Latam Café Rocks, Universal Soft and Siempre Games.
