"Gaming Industry" exhibition is being held across June 9-11 in Kyiv

Merkur making international premiere product launch at Ukraine’s gaming expo

Merkur, together with local technical, logistical and sales support provided by the Kiev-based company MSL, were present to show support to the reopening Ukrainian gaming industry with a booth packed with the latest top class games, cabinets, jackpot solutions and multiplayer equipment. Many games were presented in Ukrainian language, and many games were being seen for the very first time.

Merkur Gaming was present with a stand and company's representatives at the "Gaming Industry" exhibition, which is being held in Pavilion 1 of the International Exhibition Centre in the Ukraine’s capital city Kyiv, across June 9-11.

Merkur’s Chief Executive, International, ‘Sakis’ Isaakidis, present in Kiev, was full of praise for the massive efforts that had been made to bring the show to reality, as the gaming industry’s long-awaited return to live trade shows. “Right now it is still quite early in the show’s first day and while we would expect the really big numbers of visitors to arrive within the next couple of hours the feeling is already just fantastic," he said, according to a press release. "We are back, live shows are back and visitors, customers and business partners are back! This marks the re-opening of the industry, live and in action, and it gives us all a very real expectation that better times are coming.”

Many games were presented in Ukrainian language, and many games were being seen for the very first time, making this Kiev show an international premiere product launch. 

Isaakidis continued: “Here in Kiev we have leveraged Merkur’s experience and success throughout the Baltic region and it is great to see the hugely positive reaction from decision makers and influential figures from the operational sector as they viewed our latest products. There is still a long way to go for the Ukraine’s industry to be fully functional but all the signs are that rapid progress will be made in the near future. I just want to say a big thank you to MSL and the Merkur team, and also to the show’s organization for making this event happen. The weather outside may be a little suspect but here, inside, the Merkur Sun is shining brightly and the future for Ukrainian gaming looks extremely positive.”
