Monografie officials held on Wednesday night their second outdoor event —SAGSE Powered by Play’n Go—, offering an in-person alternative for the gaming industry in Latin America, under the relevant health and safety measures implemented due to the pandemic. Attendees were able to enjoy a variety of shows, food and beverage, the SAGSE Awards 2020 ceremony, and plenty of networking opportunities at the Hipódromo de Palermo racetrack.

The complex’s doors opened at 7 p.m. sharp as attendees, who arrived in their private cars, were brought to the tables located at the center of the racetrack, surrounded by an artificial lake and in front of an impressive stage set up for the occasion.

Organizers welcomed attendees with a set of renowned DJs and the announcement of the SAGSE Award’s winners. Guests included delegates from the top operators in Argentina (Casino Club, BOLDT, Codere, IGGR, and the main bingo groups), regulators from Buenos Aires City, and representatives of local firms and international companies who operate in Argentina.

"Once more, we were able to offer the gaming sector a unique experience, which also evidenced the industry’s need for safe networking spaces for business owners and executives to help the industry recover from the pandemic," said Alan Burak, head of the organizing team of Wednesday’s event, which was sponsored by Play’n Go.

Later, the SAGSE Awards 2020 ceremony took place, followed by a closing show by The Beats, a renowned Beatles tribute band who offered an exclusive performance for the more than 200 attendees.

It is worth noting that organizers were especially careful to strictly follow the health and safety measures in place due to Covid-19. There was plenty of staff whose main responsibility was to take care of the attendees and make sure social distancing measures were fully complied with.

In this way, SAGSE made another step forward in the reactivation of the industry, with a gathering at the Buenos Aires’ iconic racetrack where the majority of the gaming suppliers are operators In Argentina were able to attend.
