MM Testlabs, the product test and certification lab announced on Wednesday the formal launch of its Quality Assurance testing services for the European gaming industry.
"We are investing heavily in hiring and training and leveraging what is clearly the best QA capabilities in the world of gaming," said Marzia Turrini, EVP of Europe and South America for BMM.
According to Turrini, BMM will use a combination of BMM QA resources to service their European customers, who are demanding improved functional, security, and performance testing prior to product certification.
"They understand the importance of quality product deployment as brand enhancement and cost containment. BMM has been doing this for a very long time and will make the difference in that quality and cost," she added.
BMM's QA Center of Excellence, established in 2013, has tested over 1,000 Class II gaming products and 1,500 Class III products including large numbers of VLT, lottery, skilled-based games, iGaming, online, race, and sports wagering, and table game products.
"BMM performs black box, white box, pre-compliance, security, automation, and performance testing for the largest gaming industry manufacturers," said Linda Lemieux, BMM's SVP of QA testing worldwide. "The company uses QA strategy and best practices, test plans and cases or blend these with our clients as required, carefully separating product certification testing. Across its current team of some 160 QA experts, all of whom are ISTQB certified, BMM's QA metrics include a 98% first-pass rate, 96% on-time delivery, and an issue containment rate of 99.3%."
