Over 67% and 85% of their traffic came from mobile devices, respectively

Bet365, Caliente.mx global online gambling traffic drops in September, still leads ranking

The global top three was rounded out by netkeiba.com, which saw a monthly increase of 8% hosting 68.05 million users, with 91% coming from mobile devices.

Bet365.com hosted 215.27 million global users, a drop of 4% from August, while Caliente.mx fell 15%. In the US, The Florida Lottery's online traffic was down 12% from August, followed by the lotterypost.com with 14.33 million, an increase of 5% that allowed it to overtake the Texas Lottery. In Brazil, bet365.com fell by 13% but still managed to lead the ranking with 82.15 million users, followed by Ojogodobicho.com, which soared by 73%.

Yogonet and SEMrush are bringing new traffic data of global and regional online gambling and gaming for the month of September.

Global data of top gambling websites by traffic sees bet365.com easily leading with 215.27 million users, a drop of 4% from August, with nearly 68% coming from mobile devices. Caliente.mx came next with 79,502,220 (over 85% from mobile), a significant monthly fall of nearly 15%. The top three was rounded out by netkeiba.com, which saw a monthly increase of 8% hosting 68.05 million users —91% from mobile devices.

September’s regional data for the US sees the leading Florida Lottery (flalottery.com) down by 12% from August with 21,167,104 users. It was followed by the lotterypost.com with 14.33 million, an increase of 5% that allowed it to overtake the Texas Lottery (txlottery.org), which fell by 15% to the third place as it hosted 12.95 million users.

UK top three gambling websites by traffic were the same in September, compared to the prior month. Bet365 led the ranking again with 34,292,927 users, almost the same as August. Skybet came next with 22.37 million, up 11%. William Hill kept the third place with 20,885,156 users, a monthly increase of 9%.

The LatAm market was also included in SEMrush and Yogonet report for September. In Brazil, bet365.com fell by 13% from the prior month but still managed to lead the ranking with 82.15 million users. It was followed by Ojogodobicho.com, which soared by 73% hosting 79,396,062 users. Still very far behind them, sportingbet.com kept the third place with 12.17 million, up 4% from August. 

In Mexico, despite seeing a 15% drop in September, Caliente.mx easily kept the first place with 79,397,809 users. Codere.mx grew by 57% and came second though very far, with 1,745,666, while netbet.com.mx climbed several positions to achieve the third place with 232,176 users.

Colombia's online gambling traffic ranking saw its top three websites mark negative monthly variations in September. Betplay.com.co came on top with 26.06 million users, down 7% from August. In the second place, wplay.co fell by 10% hosting 12,872,590 users. They were followed far behind by rushbet.co with 1,547,029, down 2%.

In Peru, inkabet.pe kept the first place with 5,434,748 users in September, a 2% increase from August. It was followed by Teapuesto.pe, which grew by 9% to 2,464,499. Bet365 came third with a 5% monthly drop and 1,797,512 users.  

SEMrush also works with search volume data related to the gaming industry, based on the average number of times a specific search query is entered on a search engine per month. The top global English keywords searched in September were “lottery” (4,090,000 times), followed by “online games” (2,740,000), and “casino”, the only word in the top three that showed an increase from August: 22% up, recording 2,740,000 searches.
