Evolution postpones its annual general meeting due to COVID-19 outbreak

Evolution said that the decision was made for practical reasons, taking into account the risk of spreading the infection as well as the advice of authorities to restrict public gatherings of more than 50 people.

The meeting, originally scheduled for 24 April 2020, will be held no later than on 30 June 2020. Evolution will call for the AGM no later than four weeks prior to the new date.

As a result of the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19, Evolution Gaming Group board of directors on Thursday made the decision to postpone the annual general meeting (AGM). The meeting, which was originally scheduled to be held on 24 April 2020 will not be held, and the notice and proposals contained therein are retracted.

The company said in a press release that the decision was made for practical reasons, taking into account the risk of spreading the infection as well as the advice of authorities to restrict public gatherings of more than 50 people.

Evolution said it will communicate a new AGM date no later than in connection with the notice of the annual general meeting. Evolution will call for the AGM no later than four weeks prior to the new date. The meeting will be held no later than on 30 June 2020, in accordance with applicable law.

Furthermore, Evolution announced on 4 April that the floor operations at its Tbilisi site in Georgia reopened as of that day in a limited capacity. 

On 23 March, the operations were temporarily closed on instruction from the Georgian authorities, which have now approved re-opening of the operations in a limited capacity. During the closure, a large part of the operations has been conducted through the company's other studios in Europe.
