Two months before the Gaming Week that will gather the protagonists of the local industry in Colombia and the most important brands and representatives of the global market, the GAT Expo 2020 announced that the academic and commercial program advances adding important support.

T

he full agenda offers a variety of activities with specialized training, corporate conferences, affiliate meetings, business tables on regulation in Latin America, assemblies of the associations Asojuegos, Cornazar and Fecoljuegos and an exhibition of products and services for land-based and online gaming, in the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center.

Coljuegos, the Colombian regulator, will also attend GAT Expo Cartagena. In the last two years it has approved 18 platforms to operate online games and recently authorized Virtual Games in its two modalities: virtual and prerecorded. These new games do not require more formalities than those already established for sports betting, a situation that favors investment and alliances of platforms specialized in this type of entertainment with operating companies in the region.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of the Colombian fair, states: "We consolidated our alliance with Clarion and Totally Gaming Academy, defining the contents of the courses that will be held on April 21 and 22 at the same venue where the exhibition of slots, roulettes, and platforms for internet games, will take place. In fact, we are already receiving applications from various sectors of Colombia and abroad to participate in these academic days prior to the exhibition. On the other hand, we are pleased with the arrival of SBTech in Latin America through our fair as Premium Sponsor, in London they won the award for the online sports betting provider of the year and aspire to enter the regulated LATAM markets."

Natalia Moreno Roldán, Senior Advisor of the organizing company of GAT Expo, comments: "We had a very productive trip. We conclude that the enthusiasm to travel to Colombia in April to attend GAT Expo 2020 is huge. In fact, we are answering constant questions from European businessmen about Cartagena de Indias: climate, transport, accommodation and recommendations in general. We have also specified new exhibitors such as BetConstruct, Valisa, ClusterTech International, IRT, IZC, Betgames, ExeFeed, AmericaSimulcast, Interblock, Booongo and OneTouch, among other new clients. At this moment, we have 90% of the spaces for stands sold."

"The Casino Marketing Masterclass, for two days, will cover the latest trends and strategies for attracting new audiences and customer loyalty. Attendees can calculate assertively what they can invest in promotions and special campaigns and they will leave the course with Excel models that can be applied to their business," organizers said.

"The Online Gam eMasterclass / Sportsbook will analyze the online gaming ecosystem and verticals such as sports betting, poker and bingo, among others. The operator's finances in a regulated market are part of the topics of this course. A subject that generates great expectations is the ‘Six steps for the expansion of landbased casinos to online’.
