The new slot presented in London featured Konami’s new All Aboard linked progressive series, which is launching for availability across North America, Latin America, and Europe this spring. Aching tells Yogonet the company sees an "increasing appetite" for this type of premium entertainment among players and operators across LatAm markets.

Which products has Konami presented this year in London, and which generated more interest from the operators at the event?

KX 43 and Concerto Opus were among the key highlights of ICE 2020. Both award-winning machines feature a 4K display, USB charging port, dual cup holders, dual classic bash buttons, and a diverse library of proven games —everything from symbol-driven linked progressives to original jackpot bonuses. The all-new Dimension 49J also captured strong attention throughout the show. This 49-inch, J-curve slot machine featured Konami’s new All Aboard linked progressive series, with custom LED sign displays and animated LED chairback displays. Following proven success across Australian gaming markets, All Aboard is launching for availability across North America, Latin America, and Europe this spring.

Of the new products presented at ICE, which ones do you expect to offer soon in LatAm?

Many of the games shown at ICE are available now, including Dragon’s Law SeleXion, Treasure Ball, Ba Fang Jin Bao, Diamond Trails, Chili Chili Fire Boosted Wins & Wilds, and more. Konami is excited to offer so many strong titles to the market as we start the new year, and we look forward to continuing this momentum.

What comments did you receive after the launch of the new premium 49J cabinet in the show?

We received overwhelmingly positive feedback during the ICE debut of Dimension 49J. The launch themes are based on proven math, and the total presentation demands attention. Several expressed interest in leading the introduction of All Aboard to players abroad.

Do you consider this is a suitable product for operators in Latin America, considering that it is a premium product and maybe it can't find market in medium and small operations?

Ten years ago, I likely would not have considered it a highly marketable game for Latin America. However, today as the industry evolves, we see an increasing appetite for this type of premium entertainment among players and operators across Latin American markets. New premium titles like All Aboard help empower our customers with a greater diversity of available options.

Starting 2020, what will be the main markets where the company will focus its attention this year, and in particular which Latin American countries are more interesting for Konami based on gaming industry opportunities in 2020?

As the gaming industry in Latin America continues to grow, Konami is maintaining its focus on positive partnership and long-term machine value. We want to provide game options with the greatest long-term value for casinos across Latin America, with the local support of our exclusive international distributors.
