lay’n GO released Thursday their latest slot title into the market, a 5-reel slot entitled Divine Showdown.

The characters in question are the Norse god of thunder, Thor; Wukong, the Chinese monkey king; Greek goddess of wisdom and war, Athena and Anubis, the Egyptian god of death. The main draw of the game is its interactive bonus feature which allows players to pick one of the gods to represent them in a battle against the other three.

The game is an interesting addition to the slot world as it blends a number of popular themes in slot gaming into one unique package, offering a little something for everyone who is interested in the mythologically themed games in the market.

Considering the slot specialists excellent track record with titles such as Legacy of Egypt and Viking Runecraft, it points to the suggestion that this game will make positive waves with players.

CEO Johan Törnqvist spoke on the idea of merging different worlds together to create a new concept: “Mythologies are extremely popular in all forms of entertainment but they very rarely ever crossover with each other in any way.”

“We wanted an imaginative concept for this game and, with the scope each mythology brings to the title, it brings a new perspective on a popular genre and adds a great deal of excitement to the gameplay.”
