as this year’s edition of G2E Las Vegas met your expectations? Which were the similarities and differences as compared to previous years?
The latest edition far exceeded our expectations. Everything was different! We had a much more adequate and better location on the show floor, which reflected Zitro’s key role within the global gaming industry, as a well as a wider range of games and cabinets which were introduced for the first time in Las Vegas; operators and manufacturers from all over the world visited our stand non-stop, showing unprecedented interest in our innovations. I could not be happier and prouder of our performance at G2E, and now we have to look forward and continue working hard to fulfill all of the commitments we have assumed as well as to develop new ideas and innovations that we will be rolling out within the next few months.
Which products or innovations took center stage at your stand? How would you describe the feedback received by Zitro’s cabinets Allure and Illusion, as well as the new titles Bashiba and 88 Link Shock?
In general, visitors were really impressed by the wide range of products on display on our stand, but they were particularly amazed by our new cabinets, Illusion and Allure which, together with their exclusive content, took center stage at the show.
The Illusion cabinet features an impressive 43” full HD curved monitor and a 21.5” LCD topper where the Chinese-themed multigame Bashiba Link displays its unique graphics and sounds. This new unit combines, for the first time ever, multiway game mechanics with Bryke's Link Bonus.
In the Allure cabinet, we presented the 88 Link series in its two versions: Wild Duels and Lucky Charms, as well as 88 Link Shock. The latter is a progressive multigame link that comes packed with four games and the potential of winning the four-level symbol-driven mystery Shock jackpot. 88 Shock is able to link with other Shock games to pool together the Mystery Shock Jackpot. Casino owners can connect Link Shock 2 with other Shock products from Bryke to keep increasing the jackpot and players’ adrenaline levels, creating a Shock Lounge. The Allure cabinet features a new 'SmartDeck' touchpad, as well as the 'Syncroscreen', a multimedia system integrated into its three 27 ”Full HD screens. Both cabinets display an ultra-slim design, saving space on the casino floor for the comfort of players.
As you may know, it is not so easy to close sales on the show floor, and the orders usually come after the event takes place. That is why we were very surprised to confirm orders for over 2,000 Allure and Illusion units during the show, and we assume more orders are yet to come.
Which new trends and demands were you able to identify from operators and players and which will be your strategies in that regard to remain updated and attract new public segments?
We keep following the expansion of the games’ visual space closely, offering an increasingly expanded and sophisticated hardware. That is why we have expanded our cabinet range, in an attempt to offer operators the necessary diversity for our broad gaming portfolio. We keep analyzing new trends and our developers are working non-stop on these new options.
At a gaming level, our latest innovations —Bashiba and 88 Link— are combining for the first time ever, multiway game mechanics with a bonus game based on our star game Link King, but featuring completely differentiated graphics and mathematical models. We have already installed multiple banks of these games in several casinos, and as expected, this modality has fascinated players. These are the innovations that make us stand out and allow us to lure players from other segments. Our I+D team is working non-stop and we have already developed novelties that I cannot reveal yet.
Have you organized or taken part in exclusive events within G2E?
Together with our friends form Win Systems and FBM, we have hosted for the third year in a row the now legendary Great Pack Party. This year, it was held at the best night club in Las Vegas, XS, located at Wynn’s Encore. It was an amazing night, the best entertainment option during the week of the trade show. At Zitro, we develop games because we are passionate about fun and entertainment, and that concept is something we carry with everything we do. Our party has now become an icon of G2E.
Could you detail your current presence in the United States and your plans in the region?
The United States is a country that has very strict and complex regulations, which vary in each state and jurisdiction. It is a market with great potential, so we are looking to cover it step by step, so as to make sure our investments deliver good results. We are currently creating a new team aimed at guaranteeing a high-quality level of services and customer support, which stands on the same footing as the other markets in which we are present.
What are the company's medium-term plans?
We continue with our growth and expansion strategies in the five continents. We still have a long way to go, many markets to explore, but still, we are satisfied with what we have accomplished so far. I feel really blessed to be able to lead this exceptional group of people and this great company that is becoming, without a doubt, the top firm within the current gambling industry.
