In an exclusive interview with Yogonet, JCM’s SVP, Sales, Marketing, and Operations revealed the company is diversifying its product focus into new areas in the mature markets. hat products you’re planning to showcase at G2E Las Vegas?

To look forward to G2E, we need to take a quick look back. JCM Global has a 65-year history of innovation, and at G2E 2019, that enduring spirit will be on display with groundbreaking solutions, technology, and partnerships that will set new, global standards for the gaming industry.

Major suppliers have partnered with JCM to use iVIZION for a variety of applications, and at this year’s show, operators will be able to view its newest advancements. When we added our GEN5 thermal printer to our product mix, operators saw the value of combining iVIZION with GEN5, and the industry has heavily invested in these products and their demonstrated ability to power the casino enterprise in new and sustainable ways.

Then, we added our ICB and PROMONET systems, which brought innovative intelligence to the iVIZION and GEN5 platform. That base gave us a solid foundation, so when we introduced the FUZION real-time peripheral management system, connecting it to iVIZION and GEN5, we are able to transform each slot machine into an interactive kiosk that vends and redeems race and sports tickets, lottery tickets, and more. Now we are adding FUZION’s mobile solution, iTITO which enables operators to attract new and different types of players by offering a secure and easily recognizable method for mobile transaction technology.

This year at G2E, we will showcase how our partnerships will expand the capabilities of FUZION to dramatically increase efficiency and connections across multiple areas of the casino operation.

We will also demonstrate how our cutting-edge Digital Display Solutions allow operators to instantly and dynamically create visual destinations that deepen the connections with patrons across the property. Our focus with our signage products will continue to be on architectural solutions that help the operator create a unique feature or to create a gathering place within their existing operation.

Which jurisdictions do you feel currently offer the most potential for gaming growth?

This is an exciting time in the industry for gaming jurisdictions all over the world. We see the continued expansion of regulated gaming in Asia and the Americas (NCS). JCM is diversifying our product focus into new areas in the mature markets with our systems and digital signage offerings. In the new and developing markets, JCM will bring our core transaction products and will introduce other technologies to the market to expand our product offerings to new areas.

What discussions should drive next year’s agenda?

We believe the casino industry operators will continue to look for innovative solutions that increase their ability to attract players and enable them to interact in new and different ways with the existing equipment and technology on the casino floor. A big focus will remain on the “casino of the future” concept and that is exactly where JCM is going. Our iVIZION and GEN5 product lines form that perfect foundation to allow operators to integrate with the FUZION system. That integration brings new capabilities and technology to their players with new connections through their existing CMS system. Additionally, third-party technologies integrate into the FUZION system through our public API’s.

A traditional electronic gaming machine will truly become a fully featured video slot machine, sports betting kiosk, and loyalty kiosk all-in-one platform across the casino floor.

What is going to be your strategy this year to grow your market share?

Our strategy will be to continue connecting, listening, and partnering with our customers to create new and innovative solutions that address their wants and needs. We will expand into new technology and bring innovation to the market as we have for over 65 years. We have been and will continue to be the market leader for transaction technology, and our company will never stop developing products, systems, and solutions that help our customers be the very best they can be in the eyes of their guests.

In your opinion, which will be the most prominent topics to be debated in the aisles at G2E and off the show floor?

We think the debate about how to attract and appeal to the next generation of player on the casino floor will continue to be a prominent topic. One of our areas of focus for the next generation player is mobile transaction technology and certainly that will be a discussion point for many at the show, debating the merits of alternate payment technologies and the significant regulatory challenges.

Are you planning to attend any other industry-related events soon?

First, we will be showing our innovations at SAGSE in partnership with our Latin American distributors, then we will exhibit at the Macau Gaming Show.

Last month, JCM installed direct-view LED displays at casinos in Idaho and Minnesota. The company has also earned additional GLI certifications around North America. Are you planning any further deals with other tribal or commercial casinos in the U.S. or any other jurisdictions?

Our Digital Signage Solutions business continues to grow rapidly. More and more casinos – commercial and tribal – are making the investment in their guests’ overall entertainment experience and are turning to JCM and our line of signage solutions to communicate with and entertain their guests in incredibly inventive ways. As for the recent expansion of our GLI certification of our FUZION system, that allowed regulators to approve FUZION for multiple applications in jurisdictions across the U.S. We will be announcing multiple installations of FUZION soon.
