Alex Pariente, SVP Casino Operations of Hard Rock International; and John Maddox, VP Government Relations of Caesars Entertainment, will participate in "Casino Congress: Examining the Opportunities and Barriers to Entry for Casinos in Brazil" panel. Brazil Gaming Congress (BgC) 2019 will be held on June 23-25, at the Tivoli Mofarrej hotel.

Alex Pariente, SVP Casino Operations of Hard Rock International; and John Maddox, VP Government Relations of Caesars Entertainment, confirmed their participation as panelists in the ‘Casino Congress: Examining the Opportunities and Barriers to Entry for Casinos in Brazil' panel of the Brazil Gaming Congress (BgC) 2019, to be held across June 23-25, in Sao Paulo.

Latest speakers are James Kilsby, Vice President - Americas for GamblingCompliance in Washington, D.C. where he manages GamblingCompliance’s coverage of legal and regulatory developments affecting the gambling industry throughout North and South America. Luiz Felipe Maia is a founding partner of law firm Franco, Yoshiyasu, Maia, Simões & D’Alessio Advogados and head of the gambling, Internet and technology team.

Among the highlights, “Lotteries in Focus: What Will Be the Role of Federal and State Lotteries in a Newly Regulated Market?” panel will address the sale of LOTEX concession – possible outcomes and its effect on Brazilian gaming; evolving role of CAIXA and its impact on the industry; state, national and private lotteries and their role in a regulated market; maintaining social & cultural lottery funding: how to continue Caixa’s social impact in the post-privatisation market.

Speakers will be Thierry Pujol, International Consultant, Member of the Hall of Fame of Lottery Industry; Guilherme Albuquerque, Head of Department, BNDES; and Ronan Moreira, Director General, State Lottery of Minas Gerais (LEMG).
