The addition of a second level expands the total floor space for this year’s exhibition to more than 34,000 square meters featuring nearly 200 exhibitors. The 13th edition will spotlight four key industry segments: Digital Content & Technology; Parts and Components Pavilion; Integrated Resort Technology & Business Solutions; and the Asia Lottery Expo and Forum.

he 13th edition of Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia started today at The Venetian Macao resort in Macau’s Cotai district, with Asia’s leading gaming industry trade show and exhibition expanding to two levels for the first time. The three-day event is organized jointly by Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association (AGA).

The official opening ceremony for G2E Asia 2019 took place on Tuesday morning. Attending the event was AGA’s president and CEO Bill Miller. In his speech, he highlighted the commitment of the regulated casino industry to the promotion of responsible gambling and curbing illegal gambling and other related criminal activities.

The new upper level of the show is home to a variety of industry segments, including Lottery, eSports, Sports Betting, Games Platform Development, Financial Technology and Game Development. The traditional lower level will be focused on table games, slots and EGMs, IR Tech and Business Solutions, Casino Security, among others.

The addition of a second level expands the total floor space for this year’s G2E Asia exhibition to more than 34,000 square meters featuring nearly 200 exhibitors, with organizers aiming for attendance of around 18,000, having set a new attendance record of 16,358 in 2018.

“The show continues to evolve according to the changing rhythms of the industry, which is why it remains so relevant and why the gaming and entertainment industry, throughout Asia, trusts G2E Asia as the right exhibition platform via which to drive business forward,” said Josephine Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Reed Exhibitions Greater China.

G2E Asia 2019 will spotlight four key industry segments – Digital Content & Technology; Parts and Components Pavilion; Integrated Resort Technology & Business Solutions; and the Asia Lottery Expo and Forum.

G2E Asia Awards Ceremony & Dinner is to be held today from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Grand Ball Room. Nominees were selected from almost 200 public nominations, with a select committee of the 2019 G2E Asia Awards 50-strong judging panel, with five official nominees selected for each of the 12 awards categories. The official voting period ran from 13 May through 18 May. After the ceremony, G2E Asia After Party starts at the Club Cubic, City of Dreams, which is scheduled for the three days of the event.

On Wednesday, G2E Asia 2019 Conference “From Gaming To Beyond Gaming” will run from 9:30 to 5 p.m., as well as the Financial Technology Asia Forum. G2E Asia 2019 Exhibition is scheduled since 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Asia Lottery Forum 2019, Esports Connect Asia Forum and IR Technology and Security Seminar will be some of the highlights, before several networking spaces. Gaming Regulatory Networking Luncheon and Future Technology Leaders Luncheon are also on schedule, by invitation

Finally, Day 3 will see G2E Asia 2019 Conference “Technology And Gaming” and “IAGA Best Practices Institute,” both running from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Asian Responsible Gaming Forum 2019 will be followed by Asian Responsible Gaming Networking (by invitation), and G2E Asia will close with the last After Party.
