FADJA was the company's introduction in the LatAm market, and EGT Interactive was present for the third year in a row. Drumeva tells Yogonet there is still more to be done in Colombian market, and that part of the firm's strategy for 2019 is to develop a special product for the country aimed at the live games niche. She remarks that they closed deals with operators in Colombia, Mexico and Argentina recently, and they hope that the technical part will be completed soon.

an we have your final assessment of EGT Interactive’s experience at FADJA? 

FADJA is one of the most important events for the gaming industry in LATAM, and we were pleased to be part of it for the third consecutive year. One of the main focuses on our booth this year was the special area dedicated to our interactive products, and we noticed that all the visitors were attracted by its impressive design. We showcased our latest releases, such as 27 Wins and 5 Great Star, as well as our extensive portfolio of certified games especially selected for the Colombian market, including our best fruit classics, such as 40 Super Hot and Burning Hot, along with one of our best performing games: Rice of Ra and Amazons’ Battle. This year the show was very productive for us. We had the chance to strengthen the relationships with our existing customers, meet and discuss future opportunities with new partners and to present our latest developments. We were also very excited to see that many international operators visited the show, and I hope that soon FADJA will become the main event in LatAm.

What feedback did you receive for your products?

The Colombian market is definitely one of our main focuses in the region, and an event like FADJA gives us the opportunity to be sure that we are working on the right direction. Our main objective is to stay close to our customers and grow together. We are working very hard in understanding the market needs and on developing the best games for the Colombian players. The biggest proof of this is the positive feedback on our products that we received during the show. The most impressive characteristics for our customers were the unique mathematical model of our games, the high-end graphics and the four level mystery Jackpot Cards, which comes with each game. By the end of this month, we expect to increase our portfolio of online casino games with 20 new titles, and we believe that very soon EGT Interactive will become one of the leading suppliers in the country.

Which were the main topics or upcoming trends of the industry you think prevailed during the event, and visitors were most interested in talking to EGT Interactive about?

The regulation of the market in Colombia was an amazing step ahead for the whole region; and three years later, Colombia has proven its tremendous potential with its current 17 legal operators and more than two million registered users; likewise, we can agree that it became one of the most mature markets in LatAm. Still, there is more to be done. During our conversations with the local operators, we have noticed that the most urgent topic to discuss is the legislation of live games. We believe that very soon it will be a fact, and we are pleased to share that part of the EGT Interactive strategy for 2019 is to develop a special product for the Colombian market, for this niche.

What did FADJA mean for you as a company this year in particular, with iGaming still growing in the country and the region? 

FADJA was our introduction in the Latin American market, and every year it became more successful for our company. This, plus the incredible growth and extremely rapid development of the iGaming market in the country, were the reasons why this year we decided that one of the main focuses on our booth will be the interactive products. We had the opportunity to present our latest developments, along with our best performing games among players, such as 40 Super Hot, Burning Hot, Amazons’ Battle and the extra feature for each game – four level mystery Jackpot Cards. EGT Interactive was one of the first game providers in Colombia to certify video slot games – available on both, desktop and mobile devices. Since then we have continued working to increase our portfolio and become one of the leading suppliers of online casino games for the Colombian market.

Could you give us some insights on your strategies, partnerships and projects for the short term? What’s EGT Interactive’s upcoming agenda, including other markets?

Recently, we closed deals with operators in Colombia, Mexico and Argentina, and we hope that the technical part will be completed soon, so we can announce the release of our games. The strategic expansion plan of EGT Interactive in LatAm includes all the markets in the region where online operations are allowed. Thanks to our strong presence in land-based operations, we can be closer to the customers and be ready to respond to their needs at any time. We see that the trend of online gaming in LatAm is to becoming bigger. In the present, very strategic markets such as Peru, Brazil and Argentina are working on important pieces of legislation on online gaming, and we expect that in the near future even more countries in the region will consider regulating the iGaming. Whichever country in Latin America will be the next one in regulating the online gaming, EGT Interactive is ready to meet all requirements and deliver premium online gaming content, which we do in more than 80 countries all over the world.
