"Novomatic games are now making traction online in Colombia"

Levy described in advance to Yogonet their portfolio of new products for Colombia, highlighting Panthera Curve 1.43 with slot title Lucky Lady’s Wild Spell, and Panthera 2.27 featuring the new Thunder Cash Link. hat innovations for LatAm markets can we expect from Novomatic at FADJA 2019?

We are preparing a strong portfolio of new products for Colombia, using FADJA to premiere our latest content for the Latin American markets. The new slot title Lucky Lady’s Wild Spell brings the hugely popular Lucky Lady character to our latest cabinet technology, the Panthera Curve 1.43. This new cabinet features a modern, 4K curve screen and improved touch deck player interface, and will also showcase the new Asian Dragon hot title and Concurve Edition 4 game mix.

Its sister cabinet, the Panthera 2.27, will present the new Thunder Cash Link that makes its way to FADJA following its appearance at NIGA this week. Visitors to the show will also be able to see the new Novoline Interactive Edition X1 game mix that targets Latin America with a range of leading titles such as Rio Carnival, Viking & Dragon, as well as classics like Book of Ra deluxe.

Other new mixes we are excited about for the region will also be presented for the first time in Latin America, including Impera Line HD Edition 7 with titles like Asian Fortunes, Little Pharaoh and Cash Crown, as well as The Legend Gaminator 1T featuring ultimate classics and new titles such as fruit games, feature games and single player poker, roulette and bingo.  

What are your key expectations for the show?

FADJA is one of the most important trade shows in Latin America and gets bigger and better each year. Due to its timing in April and Central American location, FADJA allows us to debut our latest market-relevant products in the region, following their initial launch at ICE two months earlier. It is also particularly important for our local subsidiary Novomatic Gaming Colombia, as their main appearance each year and key opportunity to show the local operators our new products.

What do you think visitors will be looking to talk to Novomatic about, especially regarding Colombia’s prospects and emerging markets?

At Novomatic we don’t just offer products for all market segments but a variety of products for each segment, from our wide range of Group companies. Operators will be able to talk to us about our latest casino machines, content and links, of course, as well as our online and sports betting products for the emerging markets. In addition to the Novomatic offering, our interactive division Greentube, which is now live in Colombia, will be represented on our stand and discuss the online options we have available for the market.

Could you give us some examples to show a collective work and synergy between all Novomatic subsidiaries, and how they could make a difference within LatAm markets?

Our team in Latin America is very strong, established, and we frequently arrange group training sessions to share best practices and learn from one another. We have offices in Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina, and service the entire Latin America and Caribbean region. The subsidiaries are all supported by the Novomatic global headquarters in Austria and our development teams throughout the world regularly collaborate to create market-attuned content.

Will you organize or attend parallel activities before, during or after FADJA?

Like the previous years, Novomatic is again a platinum sponsor of FADJA, continuing to show our support for this important event. We will have personnel from Colombia and the regional offices at the show to meet with operators, industry executives and take advantage of the various networking possibilities both on and off the trade show floor.

Could you describe in detail your current presence in Colombia and LatAm in general, and your prospects for those jurisdictions throughout this year?

Colombia and the Latin American markets continue to be very strong for Novomatic, with our games being top performers in many casinos, gaming halls and clubs throughout the region. We are very positive that our new range of products will be well received by the market and continue to increase our momentum this year and beyond. The potential for online gaming in Latin America is also very exciting. Novomatic games are now making traction online in Colombia, giving us more access to players and allowing us to offer innovative solutions across land-based, online and mobile.
