Ahead of ICE 2019, Yogonet interviewed the CEO and founder of Optima, Jacob Lopez, who promised surprises, new functionalities, products and possibilities of expansion into new markets. The signature will be presented at booth N2-310.

ast year, Optima was recognized with multiple awards. With what expectations will OptimaMGS present in ICE 2019?
Certainly, the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 have been recognized by the gaming industry and the technology industry worldwide, although at Optima our greatest recognition is the continued growth of all operators that use our player platform and of mutual sports bets and of counterpart.
ICE 2019 will be full of surprises, new functionalities, products and possibilities of expansion to new markets, samples of the continuous technological innovation and investigation of new levels of automation and consolidation as one of the platforms with greater performance and stability in the global market.



Why should retail operators choose this platform over others that are in the market?
Our experience in retail is incomparable. We have solutions that are leaders in the most cutting-edge markets in Africa and Europe. We speak of thousands of points of sale with cashier solutions, iSSBT betting terminals or innovative systems such as iSHOP, fully integrated into the omnichannel solution. In which countries do you project the highest growth this year and why?

Latin America is showing great potential and we are looking forward to helping operators grow in an industry with so much to go where solvency technology must be of the highest level. We will continue to consolidate our presence in Europe and Africa without focusing too much on the North American market.

What do you consider to be Optima's main milestones in its six years in the market?
