Ed Peters, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Everi, spoke exclusively with Yogonet to discuss this year's edition of the Global Gaming Expo. The Vice President shared his views on the company's performance at G2E 2018 in Las Vegas, delving into the feedback received by every product displayed at Everi's booth.

How would you summarize Everi's performance at this year’s edition of G2E?

It was made clear at G2E that the investments we’ve made in evolving our product portfolio to include new gaming cabinets, original and licensed brand themes, and exciting game play features are resonating with customers. Our new hardware platforms and gaming content debuted at the show further raised the bar on the level of innovation and entertainment we offer to operators and their patrons. We continue to display year-over-year improvement in our products and that is resonating with our customers.

The advanced financial technology solutions we displayed at G2E were also well received and reinforced the fact Everi remains far ahead of the industry in creating products that address the market’s current financial technology needs while also demonstrating the path forward as the market evolves.

Which of the company’s products attracted the most attention from attendees?

Everi had a number of games, new form factors, and financial technology solutions that generated a significant amount of customer attention at G2E.

On the Games side, customers were impressed with two new branded game themes, The Mask and The Karate Kid, which debuted on the Empire DCX, the latest iteration of our Empire cabinet series. Also, the larger-than-life hardware platform Renegade 3600 with Smokin’ Hot Stuff Jackpots and Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker’s Wild and the fully featured banked product offering Empire Arena with Discovery Channel’s Shark Week also wowed operators. Finally, Smokin’ Hot Stuff Wicked Wheel on the Empire 5527 premium cabinet and Cash Machine, the only stepper game of its kind, on the three-reel mechanical reel Player Classic cabinet, were two of our more popular games at the show.

On the FinTech side, we demonstrated a host of self-service kiosks, cash access solutions, and intelligence products including the interactive CashClub Wallet™ and CashClub Concierge – a personalized cash access cage service for VIPs. Both of these solutions impressed customers with their ability to drive funds to the floor, improve operating efficiencies, and create a premium experience for patrons. Our award-winning Jackpot Xpress solution turned heads as the solution enables floor staff to securely and efficiently process jackpots using a mobile device right at the player’s gaming machine. Operators were also impressed with RecyclerXchange cash recycler which removes the need for cashiers and tellers to count and verify currency.

Our Interactive division launched its Remote Game Server (RGS) at G2E and showed operators how they can seamlessly create an online gaming entertainment community uniquely tailored to their brand and player strategies. We engaged in productive discussions with operators and partners to integrate our RGS to bring proven, land-based tier one content to interactive and online channels.

Has the 2018 edition of the show met your expectations? Was there something different from previous editions?

Just as it has been in year’s past, G2E 2018 served as a powerful platform to showcase our most diverse portfolio of hardware platforms, game content, financial technology solutions, and interactive gaming capability to a large number of operators.

Could you detail your current presence in the United States and your future plans in the country?

Everi is the gaming industry’s only single-source provider of gaming products and financial technology solutions and is built with the flexibility to scale with the industry regardless of market growth. To date, we have an installed base of more than 14,000 “rev share” games with 20 percent of this base made up of premium content. We also have more than 400 of our award-winning TournEvent slot machine tournament systems deployed across the U.S. and Canada. On the FinTech side, Everi serves more than 10 million patrons annually and has more than 840 casinos on its network, having processed approximately 103 million transactions over the last 12 months. Further, Everi helps drive approximately $27 billion to gaming floors annually.

Moving ahead, we’ll continue to invest in developing gaming products and solutions that engage patrons at higher levels and help operators generate higher returns on their investments in our products. We’ll also remain focused on creating new and innovative financial technology products and enhancing the features and functionality of existing products that help operators more effectively manage their operations and drive funds to the gaming floor.

What is the next event your planning to attend?
