A copy of his prepared testimony can be found here. In response to the hearing, Ifrah released the following statement:
"Legalizing sports betting will bring much needed revenue to the District, and online and mobile provisions are a critical part of the debate and should be included in legislation. Internet and mobile gaming, including poker and casino games, are great opportunities for D.C. to expand the size of the betting pool and receive additional revenue. Mobile also allows for important consumer protections, including real-time tracking and age monitoring tools. Independent research demonstrates the type of economic windfall and consumer protections that neighboring states, such as New Jersey, are enjoying."
