AMATIC's Sales Manager Thomas Engstberger spoke to Yogonet and shared his views on SAGSE 2018, the networking and sale opportunities encountered by AMATIC at the expo, their partnership with Oasis Entertainment and how AMATIC plans to cater to the new demands of an ever-expanding industry.

an we have your final assessment of AMATIC at SAGSE 2018, in terms of visitors, new deals, networking and feedback? Have you met your expectations?

We are satisfied with the outcome from the SAGSE. We always create our own games and place the focus on designing games that appeal to our customers around the world. Thus, it was vital for us to have the opportunity to have in-depth conversations with operators at local shows. Such conversations have helped us to build our MULTI GAME choice throughout the years. We took home the feedback that AMATIC is a well-known and respected brand in the industry and the willingness of operators to work with us.

 

Which were the main features and topics that visitors, exhibitors, operators and institutions were most interested in at your stand? What are the main innovations featured by Performer Grand Arc and Amarox C24?

MULTI GAME was the focus. We were impressed by the willingness and openness of the visitors to our stand on wanting to get to know the strong variety of popular games we offer. The typical stylish AMATIC design was complimented upon. Both the slant-top Performer Grand Arc and the upright AMAROX C24 have been designed and manufactured by ourselves in Austria – we control the entire development and production process to ensure that we can offer the very best quality gaming machines.

 

Why have you decided to partner up with Oasis Entertainment?

We were looking for an Argentinian company that shares common values – respect for customer requirements, the readiness to respond quickly and professionally and the willingness to support the customer throughout, including installation and after-sales. The Oasis Entertainment Group shares these common values and we are pleased to be working with this company.


What are the key features you consider make the difference among other manufacturers in the industry?

We believe we offer the right mix – MULTI GAME, stylish and secure gaming machines with the new and even more powerful HARDROX hardware platform. We are an independent company with 25 years of experience in the international gaming industry. We are hard-working and focus on how we can support our customers in offering optimal gaming entertainment.

 

What new demands could you identify from operators and new players' generations, and what are your strategies to approach them? How would you adapt your products to local markets?

We are thankful for the feedback from visitors to our stand. We can see that we are well positioned today to support operators in Argentina. Our local partner Oasis Entertainment will be continuing this dialogue. This will help us ensure that we have the right MULTI GAME mix for our customers here.

 

How's your agenda for the next months? What other launches can we expect from AMATIC in the short term?

We will be attending the G2E Las Vegas show. The next European show we will be exhibiting at is the BEGE in Bulgaria – together with our local partner there. Our focus for introducing new innovations will be at the ICE next year.
