"We aim to position our progressives for table games"

The executive claimed that in 2018, they will consolidate as leading providers of solutions for all of the business areas that the gaming industry needs.

The company, which is closing its fifth year in a row of sustained growth in this region, has entered into a strategic deal with SUZOHAPP, has a strong position in Peru and Colombia, and is expanding its operations in Paraguay.

n an exclusive interview with Yogonet, Alex Stiglich outlined the results obtained by DRGT in Latin America during 2017.

“We have succeeded in consolidating DRGT as the leading provider of system solutions for casinos and slots. Besides, I'd like to highlight our successful participation in PGS 2017, where the attendees were able to see our latest system innovations, like drScreen Ultra, table games Blackjack 11’s, Baccarat 11's and the products of our represented brands Apex and Alfastreet".

The executive informed that —during the first half of the year— they managed to incorporate tools like Player Tracking, Bonusing, and Jackpots into more than 2,000 operating machines.

“Peru is definitely one of the most important markets for us, in which we managed to position our system as one of the most comprehensive ones in our region. During next year’s first six months, we expect to connect approximately 1,800 machines into our system. Moreover, our products are already well-placed in Colombia and we are also expanding our operations in Paraguay. Our expansion into new markets is supported by the fact that our products are solid and meet all of the conditions required in the Latin American market”, Stiglich highlighted, while revealing part of the company’s plans.

In another interview with Yogonet, he revealed that the company’s next goal is to position its progressives for table games like Blackjack and Baccarat. How is that project going? In which markets do you think it will work best?

“Indeed, we aim to position our progressives for table games. That is why we have shown our potential customers the state-of-the-art technology of drSensor in which the player, by just placing a chip participates in the game. Our tool has a capacity of 16.9 million colors and it incorporates effects, so customers can change it as they wish. We have already deployed our product in Santiago de los Caballeros and the Dominican Republic, and we are planning to expand into other Latin American countries. Our table game progressives are able to fit every market. This is evidenced by the fact that they are working successfully in Europe. That is why we decided to repeat this in Latin America, where it is already showing positive results.”

DISTRIBUTION OF OTHER BRANDS

DRGT distributes products from Alfastreet (in Peru) and Apex (throughout Latin America). “Both companies are highly valued and successful in their business areas. Alfastreet’s Lucky 8 roulette and Royal Derby are very attractive to the Peruvian market. Besides, their products provide a better gaming experience together with an excellent service. As regards Apex, players love their machines. That is why we are bringing Apex Evo 3 to the Latin American market, which features a new interactive platform where players can enjoy both new games and classics. Our two represented brands have managed to combine quality, style and innovation capacity,” he commented.

DRGT general manager for Latin America added that their products have been deployed in more than 60 halls in Lima and the provinces, with more than 200 machines, 12 roulettes, and three Derbys in the most important halls in Lima.

This year, the company incorporated a third brand: SUZOHAPP. “It is one of the largest suppliers in the world. We are going to be the authorized distributors of the brand in Peru. We will have a well-equipped storage and a highly-qualified sales representative. With these brands, we wish to strengthen the region, offering new technologies and guaranteeing the success of our customers,” he stated.

What should we expect from DRGT in 2018?

“In 2018, we will consolidate as the company who provides solutions for all of the business areas that the gaming industry needs. That is to say, we will work with the sole purpose of pursuing innovation for our customers. We will provide comprehensive solutions in progressives for table games, electronic roulettes, the sale of supplies, control of participation and advisory services in casinos.”
