The Macau Health Bureau has launched an investigation into the Casino hotel Wynn Macau, operated by Wynn Macau Ltd, for allegedly breaching the city's smoking ban in public places.

ccording to an official statement by the Bureau, the company failed to post the mandatory “No smoking” signs inside the casino, also failing to comply with a 2012 government-approved mandate indicating customers the areas where they were allowed to smoke.

As reported by GGRAsia, the Bureau stated: “The casino joined some smoking areas (VIP rooms) and non-smoking areas (corridors) with no clear separation between them.”

Meanwhile, an official notification has been issued to Wynn by the Bureau that will follow up the case.
