Playtech BGT Sports will not only supply software and services for self-service betting terminals, but also introduce a new over the counter (OTC) sports betting solution specifically developed for the Greek market.

nder the agreement, PBS will supply software and services for a combination of full-sized SSBTs, as well as the recently launched compact SSBTs, with the initial rollout of machines having commenced in August 2017.

The introduction of the new OTC solution, complete with a substantial in-play offering, is planned in the coming months. PBS will provide a fully-managed service to OPAP, including trading and more than 25,000 in-play markets.

Several thousand SSBTs will be rolled out in the next 12 months, while all OTC betting activity will be migrated to the PBS platform across OPAP’s entire network of more than 4,500 locations.
