Online casinos continue to boost New Jersey’s gaming revenues

Figures revealed this week by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement show that online gaming revenue in the state increased 18.5% y-o-y in July.

ast month, New Jersey’s online casinos posted a gaming win of $20.6m, compared to $17.4m in the July 2016.

However, casino win decreased by 4.1% y-o-y to $247.3m, which in turn meant that total gaming win for the state in July was $267.9m, down 2.7% from $275.3m in July last year.

For the seven months through to the end of July, internet gaming win came in at $142m, a figure that represents a 26.6% increase compared to the same period last year.

Golden Nugget leads online gaming sector

In terms of individual results, Golden Nugget casino -owner Betfair, SugarHouse, and Golden Nugget online brands- has posted positive numbers during the last month. The gaming has become the first online casino operator in the state to go past USD125m in gross revenues, continually being the number one online casino operator in the state.

The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, which houses Borgata, Party, and Pala online brands, generated $3.8 million in July.
