W

hat can you tell us about the products you’re planning to unleash at Peru Gaming Show? Why is this trade show a good fit for NOVOMATIC?

After thesuccess of the NOVOSTAR V.I.P. II cabinet, we want to take the NOVOMATIC ‘VIP Experience’ to more operations in the region so will be presenting the V.I.P. Lounge– our space-optimized VIP cabinet with a smaller footprint. Also, on our stand will be the latest Impera games in our very well-known IMPERATOR S3 cabinet. In addition, and for the first time at the Peru Gaming Show, we will present the GENESIS II cabinet showcasing a range of games on the Coolfire II-s, NOVO LINE Interactive and Impera Line HD platforms.

For NOVOMATIC, it is important that we participate at trade shows in the countries where we have a presence. In the case of our country, the Peru Gaming Show has establisheda solid reputation in Latin America and provides a good opportunity to consolidate our local presence.

How are you planning to captivate Andean casino operators and players alike?

We always work in parallel with the latest technologies in order to bring products that are both profitable for casino operators, as well as attract current player trends, ensuring expectations are not only met but succeeded for both parties. Our V.I.P. suite of products, for instance, gives players a unique experience while enabling operators to quickly create a V.I.P. area on their casino floor.

What are operators most concerned about these days?

The Peruvian gaming sector is a stable environment, with clear rules and regulations. Generally speaking – about the current situation in Peru – we have just gone through a very damaging natural disaster and the operators are still recovering from this. NOVOMATIC has been in the market for more than 23 years and has good relationships with both operators and local communities, as such we directly contributed to the relief efforts with immediate aid and community support. Operators, of course, want the best solutions for their players and there is a strong affinity to NOVOMATIC products in the market.

How do you feel these gambling markets will evolve in terms of player trends and technology impacts?

Peru is a mature market and NOVOMATIC is proud to have been there on this journey. We are well established with both operators and players, and our long-standing experience enables us to bring new products to market that meet evolvingmarket trends. Over the years, we have seen that our market has been adapting to technological changes and product portfolios have expanded to offer a variety of solutions for every need.

What does the future have in store for the sector?

Due to technological changes, manufacturers will offer more products to fulfil the demands of new customers. While there is a mature land-based casino and slots business in Peru, there is particular growth of online gaming and sports betting – legislation currently being worked on that will put proper regulations in place at which stage NOVOMATIC will look to address these areas.
