hat can you tell us about the products you’re planning to unleash at the Peru Gaming Show?

We’re very proud about the products we’ll be displaying at the Peru Gaming Show with our local distributor Century Ventures. Visitors to our booth No. 41 will get to experience our Dualos slot cabinet, a 23-inch high-definition cabinet with superior sound, OLED digital button, integrated ambient lighting, and an 18.5-inch digital topper – supporting game content from Bally, Shuffle Master and WMS. We’re showcasing a wide range of content on Dualos, including high-performing titles such as Golden Pharaoh, Frozen North, Loteria El Diablito and Loteria La Sirena.

We are also featuring our TwinStar platform, supporting Bally and WMS game content. TwinStar is a sleek and sophisticated dual-screen slot platform with enhanced high-speed processing and video capabilities, along with a larger iDeck multi-touch button deck, two 24-inch HD displays, a 22-inch full HD digital topper, premium sound and game-synchronized edge lighting. At the Peru Gaming Show, TwinStar will feature a number of our best-performing titles, including our Lock It Link Night Life and Diamonds games.

Another highlight will be our ALPHA 2 Pro Series V27/27 dual-screen lower profile platform, featuring 88 Fortunes and 5 Treasures, two our most successful titles across the globe.

And our Dragon Spin display will be a show highlight, with its curved overhead display crowning our ALPHA 2 Pro Wave cabinets. This Asian-themed game has proven very popular in several Peru casinos, with its Asian theme, pick’em feature, five progressive jackpots and three free-game features.

Why is this trade show a good fit for Scientific Games?

The Peru Gaming Show is one that we look forward to supporting each year. As one of the more intimate industry shows, it affords us the opportunity to spend quality time with our customers, listening and understanding their needs and concerns and how we can better partner with them for success. The opportunities in Peru are tremendous. With more than 700 gaming locations and over 75,000 slot machines in operation, our wide variety of slot cabinets and large portfolio of game content will appeal to Peru’s diverse player base.

How are you planning to captivate Andean casino operators and players alike?

First and foremost, Scientific Games and our Peruvian distributor Century Ventures are committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with Peru casino operators and partnering to help them succeed. We hope that through a strong partnership, proactive customer service, and great products, Peru’s casino operators will realize significant value from their investment in Scientific Games. Regarding Peru’s players, we offer an exciting line-up of games that offer engagement and entertainment. One example would be our Lock It Link games, which we are going to do really well in Peru. They offer a high degree of entertainment with a four-level progressive jackpot, free spins, multi-denomination game selection, and the Lock It Link respins feature in which certain symbols lock and increase the value of each of the same symbol by the player’s bet. That’s just one product we’re excited about for the Peru market.

What are operators most concerned about these days?

We find that operators are always concerned about offering a great experience for their players through engaging game content. They are also concerned about ensuring a strong return on their investments so they watch game performance closely. And with lots of competition for the consumer’s entertainment dollar, operators are always looking for ways to drive excitement and revenue on the casino floor. They look to technology providers like Scientific Games for innovation; exciting new games and products that enable them to attract more players in a very competitive marketplace.

How do you feel these gambling markets will evolve in terms of player trends and technology impacts?

We expect that online gaming, sports betting and integrated resorts will be hot topics at the Peru Gaming Show, as well as the impact of and ability to attract a younger gaming market, including Millennials. The Peru gaming market is relatively young and is continuing to grow steadily; there is a lot of opportunity as the market matures. The market is ripe for innovation; we have found that their player base is drawn to new games, innovative packaging – anything that offers a different and more engaging play experience.

What does the future have in store for the sector?

The Peru market is an exciting one – relatively young and ripe for continued growth. The country’s locals and tourists love gaming, as it evidenced by the fact that in addition to more than 700 gaming locations, they also offer horse racing, lottery, sports betting and online casinos. We are excited about continuing to expand our presence and grow our market share in Peru.
