he big news for FADJA 2017 is its new venue. How did you react to this change? What benefits can the Chamorro Entertainment City Hall offer exhibitors and visitors?
IGT’s new booth location will continue to reflect the company’s commitment to delivering best-in-class content, cabinets and systems solutionsthat can meet the demands of the Colombian market while driving our customers business’ forward.
What new products will you reveal to the Colombian market?
We’re extending our key theme, ‘Innovation at Play’ to FADJA with a diverse product portfolio that’s designed to position operators with leading content. From our award-winning TRUE 3D portfolio, we’re introducing ZUMA 3D and Treasures of Olympus to the region. Another innovation new to the Colombian market will be the CrystalSlant cabinet. We’ve developed an extensive game library with titles such as Elephant King and Rainbow Goddess that will be featured on the compact, upright hardware solution.
We’re excited to show our customers IGT’s “proven performer” titles, such as Lucky Larry Lobstermania 3 and Fu Gui Ji Li, which have successfully completed the Company’s global test bank process. Advancing our multi-game suite offerings, we’re expanding the diversity game bundles by introducing diversity HD3 and diversity HD5 to the region.
How was this past year, from FADJA 2016 to date for the Colombian gaming industry? What are the expectations for the near term?
From IGT’s perspective, we’ve experienced a strong market response in Colombia to some of our newest gaming innovations. There has been a particular focus on the expansion of our TRUE 3D products, multi-game suite offerings and tournament solutions that have received positive feedback from operators. At FADJA 2016, we announced IGT’s new Colombian subsidiary operations, IGT Foreign Holdings Corporation Sucursal Colombia. This initiative continues to support our partners with immediate access to local inventory parts, spares and machines.
When it comes to expectations in the near term, we will continue to identify growth opportunities for our valued customers and develop market-specific strategies that cater to the region. Following FADJA, our team in LatAm will begin organizing its annual Colombian Showroom event, which provides us with another significant opportunity to invite customers to experience our gaming innovations. By hosting showroom events like this throughout Latin America, we remain well-positioned to address our customers’ needs throughout the year.
