Greektown Casino-Hotel of Detroit, a property of JACK Entertainment, just announced last week that they are now offering two new technologies for customer improvement. The GT Connected and Greektown Mobile App are new ways in which consumers can enjoy the property in connection with dining, hotel reservations, rewards and more.

The guest experience will be simplified with the new innovative technology, allowing guests of the property to earn rewards during game play as well as view the current promotions and more. The Virtual Players Card of the property can be added to any smartphone and then used on-site. Players can use their mobile device to request their vehicle from valet, pay for dinner and more.

Brian Eby, the Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Innovation Officer for JACK Entertainment, commented on the new technologies stating that the GT Connect and the Greektown Mobile App demonstrates the company’s commitment to innovation and to improving the experience for guests. Players will now have a more convenient way to use the loyalty program of the property, earning and managing GT Rewards without having to use a traditional player’s card.

The GT Connect technology is a patent-pending option by Greektown that will connect the virtual player’s card of an individual via a USB port that has been installed on the slot machines of the property

When guests connect via the port, rewards can be earned. On top of rewards, players can also charge their device.

With the Greektown Mobile Application, guests of the property will be able to use their smartphone for any transaction involving the loyalty program. Scan the virtual player’s card during table game play, at the promotional kiosks, the parking garage and more. The technology makes it easy to earn and use rewards at Greektown.

Aside from being a virtual player’s card, the Greektown Mobile App can be used by the guest to see account information such as offers and promotions, comps and redeeming points. Connect to the hotel operators directly with the application, making a reservation at the hotel or at restaurants on-site.

The new technology was part of the recent property renovations for Greektown which cost $70 million to complete. Facility enhancements were made including upgrading the interior and technology used on-site. A new player rewards program has been created along with adding in new promotional kiosks, new machines for ticket redemption, new website and more. 700 slot machines have been added to the gaming floor as part of the upgrades and 250 more will be added in the future.
