Codere announced the launch of a new sports betting website that allows gambling customers to access a wide variety of betting and gaming options via desktop. The roll-out comes only a month after the gambling company released a new mobile gambling app.

Operated under the Codere Apuestas brand, the new website features a wider variety of in-play betting markets and allows players to place bets via desktop. The gambling operator has explained that the launch came as part of the company’s strategy to grow its online sports betting business in its domestic market and respond to customers’ demand for better and more diverse offering available across multiple channels.

Upon entering the new gambling website, players will be redirected to its desktop or mobile version, depending on the devices they access it from. Resolution and other important features will be automatically adapted to the computer screen or smartphone display used.

Codere has pointed out that both the new website and the previously rolled out app provide bettors with better movement from one market or particular event within a market to another. Modern looks and better readability have also been adopted for improved customer experience.

Added to that, players will also be able to access a diverse catalog of casino titles, including traditional table games and online slots, with those being supplied by internationally recognized providers.

Codere announced earlier this week the start of a special marketing campaign aimed at promoting its upgraded offering.

The Codere Apuestas division is part of the larger Codere Group, known to be the only Spanish gambling operator to be traded publicly. The group provides its products and services in eight different European and Latin American countries, including Spain, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, and Uruguay. Codere was founded as a gaming machines operator in the early 1980s and has gradually developed into a leading land-based and online gambling company.

Codere’s sports betting division currently operates in five countries – Spain, Panama, Brazil, Mexico, and Uruguay. As of 2014, Codere Apuestas managed 1,709 betting shops. The company was the first to receive a license for the operation of sports betting options in its home country, Spain. It opened its first betting facility in 2008 in Madrid and has since then expanded to multiple other territories across the country as well as online.
