Latest analyst figures for gross gaming revenues for Macau Gaming in July predict a fall of 8% to 10% for the month.

At present the figures for the first ten days is looking even worse at some 13% but Wells Fargo Bank believe the later part of the month will see a rise in player numbers to boost the figures.

“Based on our channel checks, both VIP and mass revenue saw a slight sequential pick up into the summer holiday and post Euro Cup. We continue to expect improving GGR trends for the remainder of July,” Said a Wells Fargo spokesperson.

In June, Macau gross gaming revenue fell 8.5% according to figures from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ).

Those June figures represented the 25th straight month of decline for the worlds largest casino hub, which was in line with analysts’ expectations of 5% to 12%
