hat type of gaming halls are ideal for a product like the Concerto? How many units are you planning to sell in this market?

The operators we saw at PGS were excited for Concerto™ and clearly enthusiastic for what it has to offer to their casino patrons. We see Concerto following in the steps of our Podium® cabinet, which created huge success for local casinos and slot halls. That’s really the ideal fit—where our customers get the biggest results. Based on initial feedback from customers in Peru and the performance that we see around Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe, it undoubtedly indicates we will place hundreds of Concertos across the market over the next few months.

How was the first semester of the year for company in Peru and other Latin American countries? Could you mention the last three important installations that you have concluded?

Konami has had a great year so far. And we could probably say that our three key installations included Concerto placements across Latin America such as Uruguay’s Hipica Rioplatense, Atlantic City Casino in Peru, and CODERE MÉXICO. Results have been very strong and have set the tone for continuing expansion.

What Konami games are performing better in the wider Latin American region? Why?

Our most successful series across Latin America are Xtra Reward®, ULTRA REELS™, and 100-line games. With Xtra Reward, players really enjoy that by betting a little more they can get extra bonus features, like in games such as Dragon’s Law™, Wild Aztec™, and—as a recent launch—Chili Chili Fire™. We are recently seeing increased popularity for ULTRA REELS games as well like Dragon’s Glory™ and More Gold More Silver™. And the 100-line games that our customers throughout Latin America have seen strong success include Love Stacks™ and Tales of the Moon Night™. However overall, our unique Konami game play features like Action Stacked Symbols®, free games, and bonus multipliers really provide a long legacy of player engagement and enjoyment through a variety of unique game types and series.

What are your projections for the second half of the year? How do you think the major Latin American markets will evolve?

Now with the full launch of Concerto we’ve recognized its proven performance, received outstanding feedback from customers, and created successful new titles, we’re very optimistic that this slot game will continue to expand its reach and help us to grow our presence. These things considered, we’re planning to increase our portfolio to additional cabinet formats to help meet the diverse needs of today’s casino operators.
