Based on your recent participation in SAGSE, how would you describe the current levels of investment from operators in Panama? What are Panamenian operators looking for these days?

Operators in Panama have a long-standing relationship with gaming. They place great emphasis on providing their players with high-level customer service, while player expectations can be even higher regarding service and the variety of games they are offered. Therefore, any operator willing to compete in Panama needs to recognize the importance of investment levels and that it must be done wisely with the knowledge of the market and understanding the player. In terms of what operators are looking for these days, they remain extremely focused on exceeding their players’ expectations and growing their market share with the latest, competitive technology.

What are your best performing products or lines in the country?

IGT has built a strong presence in Panama with a full spectrum of compelling gaming solutions. We’ve experienced favorable responses from our customers on IGT’s CrystalDual™ cabinet, which is performing very well on casino floors and we anticipate that new game themes will continue to enhance its performance. Another player favorite includes the Company’s multi-game offerings such as the Deluxe diversity™ Suite which is set on the OXYGEN™ Upright cabinet. Of course, IGT’s Party Time! ® video slots continues to be one of the most loved multi-progressive themes throughout Latin American casinos and in Panama. This fan-favorite title continues to build momentum with its popular game themes and considered to be a very recognized brand throughout casinos in the region.

What is your company planning for the rest of the year?

We will continue to position IGT for growth by delivering best-in-class gaming solutions that will propel our customers businesses forward. In terms of the Latin American market, we remain focused on developing specific market strategies that cater to each region, which is supported by our strong local market presence. Participating at trade shows and road shows presents us with a significant opportunity to showcase products that continue to build appeal throughout various markets. For example, we’ve extended our TRUE 3D game library, introduced new titles to the Latin American market, and showcased IGT’s dynamic tournament solution, Spin Ferno. In addition to our games and cabinets, we continue to strengthen our local market presence throughout Latin America. We established a new Colombian subsidiary, IGT Foreign Holdings Corporation Sucursal Colombia, which will serve as a platform to support local operators in the region.
