The Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA) will be hosting a special international reception during the G2E Asia exhibition.

T

he MGEMA Cocktail Reception will take place at the Conrad Hotel, Dunhuang Ballroom 4401, Macau on Wednesday 18 May 2016, 5.30pm-7.30pm. Tickets are available through the MGEMA offices in Macau, and GB Media Corporation in the UK.

Hosted by MGEMA Chairman, Jay Chun, the reception will bring together the 150-strong membership of the trade association and key figures from the global gaming community. Forming a central part of the official reception will be the attendance of senior operatives from the industry, who will take advantage of the forum to discuss economic and investment opportunities in the region.

Jay Chun MGEMA Chairman, said: “Over the last three years, the MGEMA has made considerable progress in representing the interests of the major forces in Asian business. Part of this success is down to our relationship with the Macau SAR Government which has extended a series of grants and support programmes to aid our development. And now we feel the time is right to drive home the message that Macau is open for business. The reception is an excellent opportunity to explain how the economic diversity plan for Macau can open a wealth of opportunity for business in the region.”

“Between now and all the way through to our own event, the MGS Entertainment Show in November, we will be highlighting a series of initiatives and projects to the industry, and continuing the process of building key partnerships across the world that will strengthen the trading, commercial and cultural links between us all,’ added Chun. “The MGEMA provides one of the best routes into the Chinese and Asian markets. Our members know the economic landscape and the regulatory challenges. It makes sense that the association works alongside the international community to push the economy forward.”
